1. What this is
Crust Data is a company-data API. Accounts are created by you, or by an AI agent acting on your instruction inside a chat: the agent shows you the notice sentence and your reply is recorded as your acceptance of these Terms.
2. Free credits
A new account receives 100 free credits once per verified email. Credits expire 30 days after the grant; they have no cash value; a search costs 1 credit plus 1 per returned row.
3. Your agent's access
Signing in gives the chat that started it a 24-hour access grant and a 30-day renewal credential. You can disconnect every chat at any time from your account page; your account and credits remain.
4. Acceptable use
No scraping of the service, no resale of raw data, no use against the people in the data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the free tier.
5. Data and privacy
We store your email (hashed for lookups), the consent record (what was shown, your exact reply, the client and IP that sent it, the act that bound it), your searches and your ledger. The Privacy Notice explains retention and your rights.
6. Changes
If these Terms change, the sign-in page and the agent show you the new notice before anything is created under the new version. Your consent receipt names the version you accepted.
The notice an agent shows you
